Land Settlement

On the 20th December 2013 our land settlement took place and went through smoothly. So now we officially own our block of land!!

As you can see in the pictures below, our neighbours are all well on there way with their builds.

Nov - Dec Update: Signed our lives away & Landscaping Plans

Final Metricon Contract was signed in the second week of November. Therefore we also received final loan approval from Westpac a couple of weeks from contract signing.

Mortgage documents were signed in the second week of December just in time in order to make the settlement date (20th Dec) which has also been booked in!!

We also have had to come up with a Landscaping plan to submit alongside with our Metricon building plans in order to receive developer approval to build in the Berwick Waters Estate. As part of the land estate guidelines the front landscaping is to be completed within 6 months of moving in our home.

Neighbours started / Shelter Finished

Recently visited our block and can see our neighbours and surrounding lots' frames are all going up.




Good to see our estates infrastructure is moving along nicely as the shelter at the end of our drive is finished.




Preliminary Contract and Colour Selection

On the 11th October we signed the Preliminary Contract and finalised any structural changes:
- Cavity slider door to ensuite
- 2 awning windows 610mm wide to back of family room
- Extend ensuite vanity by 500mm
- Fly Screen door to sliding door of family room
- Eves to the front of the house excluding the garage
- Alugard security screen door to front entry


On the 16th October we had our colour selection appointment. See photos of selections below:

Builder and Home Chosen

Late July 2013 we chose to build the "Delta 22" with Metricon.

We chose to have the "Neo" Facade and will add render to the brickwork around the double front window:



We changed the 4th bedroom into an outdoor alfresco room.
