Frame Stage Complete

In just over a week our Frame Stage is complete :) You can see that the Dune Guttering and Fascia is on as well as our windows.  See below for photos:

Frames Well Under Way

We once again visited our building site on 14th March 2014 as we heard that the frame stage would be started. They certainly go up quick as half the frames were already done. Frame stage is expected to be completed by the 20th. See progress photos below:

Slab/Base Stage Complete

Couple of weeks in from site start now and we have a concrete slab to look at which completes our base stage!! See photo below:

Retaining Walls are In

Just had a quick visit to the block to see if there was any progress after a week in and noticed that the retaining walls have been put in on both sides of the block.

Site Works Commenced (21/2/14)

On Friday 21st February the site works officially started on our block for our build, finally after the long process of all the contracts and final signings. So Day 1 they started digging out our block in preparation for the concrete slab to go down which is the "Base Stage". See below for photos of what they accomplished on Day 1.

Land Settlement

On the 20th December 2013 our land settlement took place and went through smoothly. So now we officially own our block of land!!

As you can see in the pictures below, our neighbours are all well on there way with their builds.

Nov - Dec Update: Signed our lives away & Landscaping Plans

Final Metricon Contract was signed in the second week of November. Therefore we also received final loan approval from Westpac a couple of weeks from contract signing.

Mortgage documents were signed in the second week of December just in time in order to make the settlement date (20th Dec) which has also been booked in!!

We also have had to come up with a Landscaping plan to submit alongside with our Metricon building plans in order to receive developer approval to build in the Berwick Waters Estate. As part of the land estate guidelines the front landscaping is to be completed within 6 months of moving in our home.
